Steel strip material edge treatment

Stainless steel strips that have been slit are usually rough around the edges and have small cracks. If the edges are not trimmed, the stainless-steel material will break sooner than the trimmed material after applied to various products for a while, resulting in a shortened life span.

Therefore, whether it is an industrial part or a part made of metal rolls such as fragments and springs, the life and accuracy of the part can be significantly increased by trimming away the edges.
